World Inspiring Network, in collaboration with Engagement Global through its ASA Program, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, GlobalGiving, 10 Billion Strong, and other esteemed partners, invites applications for the Green Action Project in Ghana.
About the Green Action Project
The Green Action Project is an initiative designed to empower 30 young Ghanaians with the knowledge, skills, and resources to become eco-entrepreneurs and environmental leaders. Through a blend of virtual training and hands-on community engagement, participants will gain the tools they need to effect meaningful environmental change.
Selected participants will embark on a six-week virtual training program, engaging with experts and thought leaders in the fields of environmental science, sustainable entrepreneurship, and community development. This training will culminate in the implementation of community projects that address pressing environmental challenges in Ghana.
The Green Action Summit
As a highlight of the project, participants will have the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and project outcomes at the Green Action Summit. This event brings together environmental leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss and advance the green agenda in Ghana and beyond.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for passionate young Ghanaians aged 18-35 who are eager to make a difference in their communities through environmental action. Whether you have a background in environmental science, a passion for sustainable development, or simply a desire to learn and lead, this program is for you.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be citizens of Ghana.
- Applicants must be residents of Ghana.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Applicants must have a minimum of a high school education.
- Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest in environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Applicants must be available to participate in the program for its entire duration.
- Applicants must demonstrate innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Applicants must be willing to start a green business or have a existing business that is not older than 2 years.
