Oliver Werb serves as the Fundraising Officer for World Inspiring Network, bringing his passion for development studies and experience in research to support our mission.

As a rising third-year undergraduate student in the Geography Department at University College London (UCL), Oliver has focused on understanding the dynamics of development, particularly in relation to locally-led initiatives. His research experience includes conducting interviews with local NGOs in Accra, exploring the barriers to locally-led development, and shedding light on the practical and systemic obstacles faced by local organizations.

Oliver’s academic pursuits are complemented by his strong interest in development studies, with a specific focus on urban contexts like Accra. He aims to pursue a Master’s in Development Studies, with the ultimate goal of securing employment in an NGO.
